V Magzine Concept

Deconstructing and reversing gender roles in advertising fashion. This V Magazine Editorial photography was taken for a Ryerson School of Fashion art direction class, where we had to challenge one of three principles, deconstruction, inclusion, and sustainability. The concept of this photoshoot was to create a magazine editorial spread, encapsulating the aesthetic of a famous fashion magazine, and implementing one or more of the university’s guiding principles into the story of our work. The goal of this photoshoot was to sell female fashions through a masculine lens through the use of poses, styling, and sultry.
