Empowering Fem

The Empowering Fem image series is focused on honouring and capturing a female's inner confidence and natural beauty. As my capstone is mostly focused on de-objectifying females in fashion photography, I highlighted this particular series under the values of respect and modesty. My main goal was to capture these images with natural lighting techniques, as well as clean and simple compositions. These images were minimally touched up except for a few minor spot heal corrections and colour grading. As for styling, I wanted to capture everything naturally, so I styled the models in attire that made them feel confident and empowered in who they are as individuals.
